Job summary

National Church Residences seeks a Non-Certified Nursing Assistant - PRN Nights (4p–10p) to provide direct resident care in our Ohio facility. Under the Charge Nurse, you will assist with daily living activities and support residents to maintain the highest possible level of function.

Responsibilities include assisting with vitals, transfers, hygiene and meals; documenting changes in EMR; maintaining clean rooms; adhering to safety, infection control and HIPAA standards; and reporting concerns

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two to four years of experience preferred.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Performs/assists with resident direct care needs and activities of daily living.
• Maintains cleanliness of resident rooms and assists with meals and mobility.
• Communicates effectively with residents, families, peers, managers, and visitors; follows directions.
• Assists nurses with vitals, weights, and documentation; helps with admissions and training.
• Adheres to Resident Rights, maintains confidentiality, and reports concerns to supervisors.
• Documents resident information in the EMR accurately and confidentially.
• Follows safety, infection control, and equipment-use policies.
• Performs food service tasks: prepares residents for meals, serves food, assists with eating, and records intake.
