Job summary

Reading Hospital Rehabilitation at Wyomissing is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a multidisciplinary team on the Transitional Subacute Unit. You will evaluate patients, plan and document care, and support rehabilitation goals in a 50-bed unit.

The full-time night shift runs 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. with every other weekend and holiday rotation. PA RN license required; prior RN experience in acute or rehab settings preferred; strong communication and patient education skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensed RN with PA license (or eligible).
• Clinical nursing experience in hospital/rehab settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
• Delivers nursing care through evaluations, planning, implementation and documentation.
• Administers medications within the RN scope of practice.
• Promotes patient independence by teaching care goals and self-management.
• Utilizes experience to plan and accomplish patient care goals.
