Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital in Center Valley, PA, seeks a part-time Nursing Assistant for night shifts (20 hours/week, 12-hour nights). You will support the clinical team by providing patient care, assisting with transfers and ambulation, and documenting patient information while maintaining a compassionate environment.

Required is a High School Diploma with CPR within 30 days; 1 year of acute or long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• 1 year acute or long term experience preferred
• Basic Life Support / CPR certification within 30 days of employment

Responsabilités

• Enhances the effectiveness of the clinical team by collecting patient data, responding to resident/patient requests, providing personal care, and maintaining the clinical environment.
• Provides patient care by prioritizing, planning and completing patient care as assigned; attending to personal care needs; assisting with patient transfers and ambulation.
• Obtains accurate vital signs and other clinical parameters and specimens including blood sugar readings, EKGs and drawn blood samples; responds to patient requests.
• Notifies RNs of significant findings or changes in patient condition; documents in the patient record; maintains a safe and clean working environment.
• Maintains confidentiality and supports unit efficiency by restocking equipment and reporting maintenance needs.
