Job summary

Advocate Health in North Carolina seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join the Cabarrus Respiratory Therapy Services. You will deliver oxygen therapies, operate ventilators, and collaborate with the care team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include NBRC-credentialed RRT, state licensure, BLS, and an Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy. This full-time night-shift role offers a sign-on bonus eligibility and supports professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy required (or equivalent experience). BA/BS or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge in oxygen delivery methods and equipment and conducts prescribed therapies.
• Administers therapeutic procedures and performs diagnostic procedures as per policy.
• Operates and monitors mechanical and non-invasive ventilators; understands critical care duties.
• Evaluates current therapies and makes care plan recommendations.
• Documents therapy results and communicates with the healthcare team.
• Performs blood sampling analysis and interprets results.
• Works independently in all patient care areas and utilizes the EMR effectively.
• Follows safety guidelines and completes regulatory requirements.
