Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care.
• RRT or equivalent credential required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the applicable state.
• BLS certification; advanced credentials per policy.
• Experience in critical care settings is preferred for ED roles.

Responsibilities

• Administers and monitors oxygen delivery and ventilation therapies.
• Performs diagnostic procedures and blood gas analysis.
• Operates ventilators and adjusts care plans per policy.
• Documents therapy and communicates with the health care team.
• Maintains EMR proficiency and adheres to safety/regulatory standards.
