Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Stroke Telemetry unit in Glenview, IL. The role is full-time with a 7pm-7:30am night shift and rotating weekends, offering 32 hours per week.

The incumbent will provide skilled nursing care, apply the nursing process, and mentor unlicensed staff while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safe, continuous patient care and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required.
• Education: NLN-accredited nursing program required; BSN strongly preferred.
• Certification: BLS/CPR Certification for the Healthcare Provider required.
• Experience: Prior nursing or CNA experience preferred for new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Contribute to safety outcomes and high-quality patient experience.
