Job summary

Endeavor Health in Chicago, IL seeks a Registered Nurse for the Neuro/Stroke/Tele unit on the night shift. This full-time role requires 36 hours per week with nights (7p-7:30a) and rotating weekends/holidays.

May float to other inpatient units as needed. You will perform the nursing process, maintain competency, mentor peers, uphold ethics, integrate evidence-based practice, ensure safety, document thoroughly, and participate in professional development.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a staff nurse.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Demonstrates mastery of nursing skills.
• Communicates effectively and is able to guide and supervise nursing personnel.
• Current Illinois Nursing licensure.
• American Heart Association CPR Certification.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required within six months depending on unit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of nursing care to patients and their families.
