Job summary

Edward Elmhurst Health in Glenview, IL is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medical Stroke Telemetry unit. This full-time night shift (7:00 pm–7:30 am) includes rotating weekends and 32 hours weekly.

You will provide safe, compassionate nursing care, apply the nursing process, supervise unlicensed staff, and collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. IL nursing license, NLN-accredited nursing program, and BLS/CPR are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current IL nursing license is required.
• NLN-accredited nursing program graduate with BSN preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Experience: prior nursing or CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a specific unit.
• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in care delivery.
