Job summary

Endeavor Health in Chicago, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neuro/Stroke/Tele unit to provide bedside care on the night shift. The position is full-time (36 hours/week) with nights from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., every other weekend and rotating holidays. May float to other inpatient units as needed.

You will use the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate care, maintain current competency, mentor peers, promote safety, and document thoroughly.

Qualifications

• Requires graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current Illinois licensure.
• Minimum one year of experience as a staff nurse.
• Ability to communicate effectively and supervise nursing personnel.
• CPR certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required within six months depending on unit.
