Regional One Health in Memphis, TN is seeking a Part Time Night RN to provide professional nursing care in Medicine Acute.

The role requires a nursing degree, RN licensure in TN, BLS certification, and inpatient experience; night shift work and flexible scheduling are part of the position.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing school/program.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• RN licensure to work in TN (required upon hire).
• BCLS/CPR certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care according to medical regimen and standards.
• Initiates assessment based on patient presenting problems or needs, physician's medical diagnosis and framework.
• Collects key information from patient, family, laboratory and other medical reports.
• Ensures consent for treatment/procedure is signed and prescribed identification procedures are carried out.
• Determines nursing diagnosis and priorities for care, with emphasis on patient teaching and discharge planning.
• Documents assessment including nursing diagnoses or other clinical judgments.
• Responds to medical emergencies and assists with CPR/BLS as required.
• Maintains patient medical records and uses electronic systems to enter and retrieve data.
• Collaborates with patient/family/hospital staff to promote satisfaction and safe environment.
