Job summary

Regional One Health in Memphis, TN is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medicine Stepdown unit on the night shift. You will provide professional nursing care to patients, assess and treat per plan, and collaborate with the care team.

The role requires TN RN licensure, BCLS certification, and inpatient experience; Bachelor's degree is preferred. You will document care, educate patients and families, and participate in safety and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program.
• RN license in TN is required.
• BCLS certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred for the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care according to medical regimen and standards.
• Initiate assessment based on patient needs and physician diagnosis.
• Document care, assessments, and nursing diagnoses.
• Coordinate with physicians, families, and care team.
• Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning.
• Respond to emergencies and provide CPR/BLS as required.
