Job summary

Regional One Health in Memphis, TN is seeking an RN for night shift PRN coverage. You will provide professional nursing care, perform assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include charting, patient education, and discharge planning, with a focus on age-appropriate care and adherence to standards. Applicants should hold TN RN licensure and have 1 year of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program.
• RN licensure in Tennessee (TN) or eligible for licensure.
• Minimum 1 year recent RN experience in acute care.
• CPR and BLS certifications required.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to float pool guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per medical regime and standards.
• Perform assessments, plan care, and document findings.
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and care teams.
• administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Participate in rounds and ongoing reassessment.
• Maintain records and ensure patient safety and infection control.
• Assist in discharge planning and patient education.
• Supervise and orient junior staff and students as needed.
