Garden City Hospital in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe patient care on the Medical/Surgical unit, applying the nursing process from assessment through evaluation. You will provide direct patient care and guide patient and family teaching while upholding standards of care.

Candidates must have a current state RN license, BLS on hire and ACLS available within 30 days. Previous acute care hospital experience is preferred; BSN is preferred. Night shift.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsabilités

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing staff.
• Maintain standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit and communicate changes in patient condition to physicians.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
