McLaren Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 8 W Medical Surgical unit in Pontiac, MI. The role delivers quality nursing care using the nursing process and collaborates with the healthcare team to maintain professional standards and patient-family centered care.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and regulatory guidelines. Schedule: Full-time, 7:00pm–7:30am, 72 hours per pay period, with weekends as applicable.

Qualifications

• RN licensure is required.
• BCLS certification is required.
• ACLS is required for certain units.
• Graduate of an approved school of Nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
• Plans and implements nursing care according to patient and family needs.
• Makes appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs.
• Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions.
• Assumes personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development.
