Job summary

The McLaren Health Care system in Michigan is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care on a full-time basis. This night shift role runs 7:00pm–7:30am and emphasizes assessment, planning, and collaborative care within a patient- and family-centered approach.

Required/Must-have credentials include an MI RN license and BLS; ACLS/NRP must be obtained per unit orientation. McLaren is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nursing Program.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification from AHA/ARC or Canadian equivalent, valid at least 60 days beyond start date.
• ACLS required by end of unit orientation for specified units.
• NRP certification required by end of unit orientation for FBC.
• BSN preferred.
• One year related specialty care experience preferred for listed units.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
• Plans and implements nursing care according to patient and family needs.
• Makes appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs.
• Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions.
• Assumes personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development.
• Performs other related job duties as assigned.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients, families, and staff.
