Job summary

Holland Hospital in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 16-bed unit providing acute medical/surgical care to adults with GI/GU, endocrine, renal, hematologic and oncologic concerns. The RN will coordinate patient-centered care, teach patients and families, and supervise care with a collaborative team.

The role offers a $5,000 retention bonus; schedule is 7:00 pm–7:30 am with every third weekend, full-time, 72 hours every two weeks.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Registered Nursing Program
• Current Michigan RN License
• Current BLS for the Healthcare Provider (or completed within 60 days of hire)

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient-centered care.
• Lead and delegate tasks while collaborating with the healthcare team.
• Incorporate patient and family education into the care plan.
• Adhere to the Michigan Public Health Code and ANA Standards of Professional Performance.
• Coordinate discharge planning and monitor patient progress.
