Garden City Hospital in Garden City, Michigan, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a high‑quality medical/surgical unit. The role delivers safe patient care through the nursing process, while guiding patient and family teaching and coordinating with physicians on changes in condition.

The ideal candidate holds a current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and has acute care experience; BSN is preferred, with day shifts and full‑time employment available.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit.
• Communicate with physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
