Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator I for night shifts in a quarry environment. You will transport materials across piles, trucks, and crushers to meet production and shipping needs.

Responsibilities include operating various heavy equipment, inspecting gear daily, and maintaining safety standards while collaborating with the team. The role requires physical endurance and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Reads and writes proficiently.
• High School diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience working in varying weather elements; quarry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks, water trucks, rock breakers, and fuel truck.
• Operate additional mobile equipment as required (front end loaders, dozers, backhoes, graders, excavators, skid steer).
• Inspect equipment each shift and report issues.
• Correct malfunctions or safety hazards or report to supervisor if not fixable.
• Perform site cleanup to maintain a safe work environment.
• Take accurate counts of material additions as required.
• Coordinate with quality personnel and adjust material blends as needed.
• Communicate safety, maintenance and production needs clearly.
• Carry out other responsibilities as assigned.
• Uphold health, safety, and environmental policies in all areas.
