Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. seeks a Mobile Equipment Operator I to move materials around the quarry at night, operating haul trucks, loaders, dozers and related equipment as production demands.

The role requires inspecting equipment, reporting issues, adhering to health, safety and environmental policies, and collaborating with quality personnel to ensure accurate material blends and safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Education: Read and write required.
• Education Preferred: High School diploma or GED.
• Required Work Experience: Experience in varying weather; quarry experience preferred.
• Additional Requirements: Heavy equipment operation and maintenance, troubleshooting, muscled physical activity, teamwork, overtime and shift work, PPE compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate/transport materials per production/shipping needs.
• Operate front end loaders, haul trucks, dozers, backhoes, graders, excavators, fuel truck, dredge and skid steer loaders as required.
• Inspect equipment each shift and report problems.
• Correct malfunctions or safety hazards or notify quarry supervisor if unable to fix.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Take accurate counts of material additions.
• Coordinate with quality personnel on material blends.
• Communicate safety, maintenance and production needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
