Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator I to move materials around the quarry and operate equipment such as haul trucks and loaders. You will participate in daily operations to support production and ensure efficient material handling.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, reporting issues, and maintaining a safe work environment. This role requires adapting to weather and shift schedules, and prior quarry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write is required (the ad notes basic literacy).
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in varying weather elements and quarry environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks, water trucks, rock breakers, and fuel truck as required.
• Operate mobile equipment including loaders, dozers, backhoes, graders, excavators, and skid steers.
• Inspect equipment each shift and report problems.
• Maintain safety and quality by timely communication with supervisors.
• Support plant flow and materials counting as needed.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies.
