Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator I to transport materials around the quarry and operate a variety of heavy equipment according to production needs.

The role involves safety-focused operations, coordinating with supervisors, and maintaining equipment in good working condition. The position requires endurance for outdoor work in all weather, ability to work shifts, overtime, and a strong team ethic.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; additional education preferred.
• Experience: heavy equipment operation and maintenance, quarry environment experience preferred.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and in a fast-paced setting.
• Commitment to safety protocols and proper PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks, water trucks, rock breakers, and fuel trucks.
• Run front end loaders, dozers, backhoes, graders, excavators, skid steers as required.
• Inspect equipment each shift and report issues.
• Correct malfunctions or flag hazards to supervisor when needed.
• Assist with material counts and ensure accurate material blending and communication with quality personnel.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies.
