Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator to transport materials within the quarry, trucks, and crushers as production requires. This full-time hourly role focuses on operating various heavy equipment and maintaining safety and efficiency on the job site.

You will inspect gear at each shift, report issues, and coordinate with quality staff to manage material blends while adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies. Overtime, weekend, and holiday shifts are common.

Qualifications

• Education: Reading and writing ability.
• Education Preferred: High School diploma or GED.
• Required Work Experience: Weather exposure; quarry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate primary quarry equipment including haul trucks and water trucks.
• Operate mobile equipment such as front end loaders, dozers, backhoes, graders, excavators, fuel truck.
• Inspect equipment each shift and report issues.
• Address malfunctions or safety hazards with supervisor if needed.
• Maintain clean, safe working environment.
• Take accurate counts of material additions and adjust blends as required.
• Communicate safety, maintenance, and production needs.
• Work overtime, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
