Job summary

Amcor is hiring a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in the Production Department, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity. Reports to the Production Manager and leads personnel, driving continuous improvement and accountability on the shop floor.

The role requires a hands-on leader who maintains a visible presence on the production floor, supports safety initiatives, and champions engagement and performance development across the team.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 3–5 years in a manufacturing leadership role.
• Safety Leadership: Demonstrates a strong commitment to workplace safety and leads by example.
• Accountability: Takes ownership of responsibilities and follows through on commitments.
• Communication: Delivers clear, timely messages, both written and verbal.
• Engagement: Inspires and motivates team members while supporting goals.

Responsibilities

• Safety Leadership: Ensure safety of all team members and lead incident investigations and risk assessments.
• Operational Oversight: Supervise daily production activities and monitor attendance to ensure payroll accuracy.
• Team Development & Performance: Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
• Communication & Collaboration: Communicate across maintenance, technicians, operators, and supervisors.
