Job summary

FormFactor, Inc. in Beaverton, Oregon seeks a Supervisor for Production - Assembly & Test to lead the night shift, drive safety, quality, and throughput for probe test and assembly operations.

You’ll coordinate WIP, allocate resources, and resolve roadblocks with engineering to meet targets. The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering or manufacturing (or equivalent) with electronics manufacturing and leadership experience, plus SQL/Access and ERP/MRP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• Electronics manufacturing experience required.
• Experience in a management or leadership role with direct reports.
• Experience with SQL and/or Access databases; able to pull, manipulate and analyze data for metrics reporting.
• Experience with metrics and tracking on-time delivery and performance analysis.
• Strong knowledge of ERP and MRP systems; QAD experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels; external partners as needed.
• Ability to work in a microelectronic precision manufacturing cleanroom environment; comfortable with 24/7 operations and after-hours on-call.
• Weekend and holiday work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety on the night shift and drive safety initiatives and audits.
• Ensure quality execution with zero escapes and strict work instructions adherence.
• Own shift output by managing WIP, resources, and staffing; communicate with internal customers.
• Be present on the floor and provide clear shift-to-shift handoffs.
• Direct supervision of hourly staff; enforce timekeeping, breaks, and policy compliance.
• Collaborate with People Experience on employee relations while maintaining confidentiality.
• Lead daily shift huddles and maintain open lines of communication with planning and engineering.
• Coach, develop, and recognize staff; support cross-training and succession planning.
