Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc is seeking a Production Supervisor on the Back Night shift at Fab 4 in Gresham, Oregon. You will staff, supervise and develop non-exempt employees in a clean-room environment while driving production goals.

You will lead continuous improvements, manage Workday timekeeping, and ensure safety and adherence to Microchip's values. A BS degree and supervisory experience in manufacturing are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory (direct and/or direct lead) experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong leadership for performance management and staff development.
• Conflict resolution, meeting deadlines and multi-tasking.
• Engagement and team-building skills, plus writing and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Production Specialists in a fast-paced clean-room facility.
• Flex work schedule to accommodate production operations.
• Monitor and act to meet production goals aligned with values.
• Perform administrative duties including timekeeping validation, training and performance reviews.
• Drive continuous improvements, cost-reduction measures and barrier removal.
• Lead project-management activities across the production group.
• Adhere to clean-room and safety requirements.
