Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required. College degree in industrial technology, business, management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience required.
• Experience in a food processing environment strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of assigned work area including projects, coordinating production workflow, troubleshooting processes, costs, scheduling, shipping, receiving, and quality. Ensure on-time delivery within budget and meeting customer expectations.
• Document and understand required data to control production processes.
• Assist in developing and updating standard operating procedures.
• Comply with and follow food safety and quality policies and support food safety programs.
• Perform and oversee audits and inspections of the workplace.
• Drive root cause problem solving to address quality and delivery issues.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
• Provide training and development for production personnel.
