Job summary

Actus Nutrition is seeking a Production Supervisor to direct shift personnel in a food-grade facility, ensuring safe, efficient production that meets quality specifications. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of strong mechanical and operations leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree and expertise in a food-grade facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct shift personnel in facility operations to meet quality and production targets.
• Coordinate activities across process areas to meet scheduling and quality requirements.
• Monitor hourly physical characteristics and evaluate product specs, density, moisture, and grind quality.
• Implement and enforce safety and regulatory programs for long-term safe operation of the facility.
• Lead production team with education and development programs, SOPs, and quality specs.
• Communicate performance KPIs to the team daily.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and complete shift reports; coordinate records with Production Manager.
• Oversee nightly production reporting and collaborate on production efficiency improvements.
• Assist with weekly/monthly production scheduling and staffing according to business needs.
• Maintain and improve plant sanitation and coordinate maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory policies and practices.
