Job summary

Biospringer is seeking a Production Supervisor for the night shift to oversee plant operations and ensure product quality. You will enforce GMP, safety protocols, and coordinate with Maintenance and Quality teams. Excellent communication and leadership are essential.

The role requires managing Process and Drying Operators, maintaining logs, and using SAP for data entry. A related degree or supervisor experience in food manufacturing is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Production Management or 2–3 years of supervisor experience in a food-processing setting.
• Basic math, chemistry and microbiology knowledge to work with minimal supervision and make prudent decisions.
• Basic knowledge of equipment sanitation and production department processes.
• Ability to supervise multiple people and prioritize duties to ensure consistent, high-quality production.
• Forklift certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production activities during night shift to ensure quality finished products and adherence to GMP and safety standards.
• Ensure operators follow procedures and complete control sheets with variances addressed.
• Maintain supervisor logbook and communicate with other shifts and management.
• Perform startup/shutdown of spray dryers and coordinate with maintenance for issues.
• Utilize SAP and computer systems to document production data and inventory.
