Job summary

Dessert Holdings in Aurora, CO is seeking a Production Mixer to join the 3:00 PM–3:00 AM shift. You will prepare and combine ingredients for desserts, document batch details, and ensure materials are stored per specifications while maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

The role requires at least 6 months in a food manufacturing setting, basic reading/writing in English, and flexibility to work varied hours. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with match.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a Food Manufacturing environment; bakery experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Responsibilities

• Accumulate all pre-approved ingredients from production bins.
• Document materials used on each mix with total for the shift.
• Record lot codes, batch tickets and waste logs on batch tickets.
• Ensure materials on the floor are stored per formula and build sheets.
• Monitor temperature of materials as required.
• Maintain sanitation in the mixing area and proper disposal of mixing material.
• Report any quality problems with ingredients or finished mixes.
• Follow safety procedures with mixer equipment and power blending.
• Understand SQF, HACCP and GMP practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
