Job summary

Dessert Holdings in Aurora, CO is seeking a Production Mixer for the 1st shift (3:00 AM – 3:00 PM) to contribute to the creation of premium desserts. You will manage ingredients, document batch details, and maintain cleanliness and safety in the mixing area.

Minimum 6 months in food manufacturing is preferred; high school diploma or GED is desirable. The role requires English communication, ability to read instructions, and flexibility to work various hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a Food Manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to communicate in English and write correspondence.
• Ability to present information to leads, supervisors, and R&D.
• Flexibility to work various hours and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Accumulate all pre-approved ingredients from production bins.
• Document materials used on each mix with total for the shift.
• Log batch tickets, lot codes, and waste.
• Store materials properly per formula and build sheets.
• Monitor material temperatures as required.
• Maintain clean and sanitary mixing area and dispose of waste properly.
• Ensure mixes are free of foreign objects and report defects.
• Follow safety procedures when operating mixer and blending equipment.
