Job summary

Dessert Holdings in Aurora, CO is seeking a Production Mixer for the 1st shift (3:00 AM - 3:00 PM). You will manage ingredients, document batch details, ensure proper storage, and maintain sanitary conditions in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Requirements include 6 months in a food manufacturing setting, ability to read and communicate in English, and flexibility to work varied shifts. Training and certifications are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a Food Manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to communicate in English and write correspondence.
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to leads, supervisors and R&D.
• Flexibility to work various hours and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Accumulate all pre-approved ingredients from production bins.
• Document materials used on each mix with total for the shift.
• Record batch tickets, lot codes, and waste logs.
• Ensure materials are stored properly per formula and build sheets.
• Monitor temperature of the materials used as required.
• Maintain sanitary and clean conditions in the mixing area and dispose of waste properly.
• Report any unsanitary conditions of equipment prior to use.
• Follow safety procedures with turning on mixer equipment and blending equipment safely.
• Comply with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices.
• Assist and be an active member of the Steven Charles Operations team.
