Job summary

IRCA Group is seeking a motivated Production Team Lead for the night shift (alternate weekends) to supervise daily manufacturing operations, ensure product quality and food safety, and drive team efficiency on the floor. You will coordinate with maintenance, QA, and other departments to resolve issues and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a food manufacturing or similar production environment.
• Prior leadership experience (lead, supervisor, or coordinator role).
• Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, SQF, USDA, etc.).
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of production associates to meet production goals and quality standards.
• Monitor daily operations to ensure GMPs, food safety protocols, and company policies.
• Coordinate with maintenance, QA, and other departments to resolve production issues.
• Train, coach, and mentor team members to promote continuous improvement and high performance.
• Ensure accurate completion of production paperwork, logs, and system data entry.
• Monitor inventory of raw materials and packaging supplies; communicate shortages or issues to supervisors.
• Enforce safety standards and conduct daily safety checks and audits.
• Participate in shift changeovers, team meetings, and daily production planning.
• Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform production tasks as needed to support team performance and output.
