Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking a Production Supervisor for its De Soto, Kansas site. The role leads 24/7 shift operations, drives Lean, 6S and continuous improvement, and ensures safety, quality, and meeting delivery targets.

The position requires 3+ years of leadership in a high-volume plant, strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration, and proficiency with MS Office; a technical degree plus Six Sigma and OSHA credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive leadership in high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, 6S and continuous improvement.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communicator, able to work cross-functionally.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and English language.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations to achieve production, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Ensure adherence to Standardized Work Instructions (SWIs) and training.
• Plan and assign work schedules for team members; prioritize tasks.
• Drive PFMEA, risk mitigation, and root-cause analysis with engineers.
