Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is expanding its De Soto, Kansas facility. We seek a Production Supervisor to lead safe, high‑volume shift operations in a 24/7 environment, driving Lean, SQDCP metrics, and continuous improvement. The role emphasizes standardized work, team capability, and cross‑functional problem solving.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a technical discipline; relevant work experience may substitute.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) (preferred).
• OSHA 30‑Hour General Industry certification (preferred).
• 3+ years of progressive leadership in high-volume 24/7 manufacturing (or 2+ years as PECNA Process Lead).

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations to meet production, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Develop and enforce Standardized Work Instructions (SWIs).
• Plan and assign work schedules, tasks, and priorities for team members.
• Drive Lean, 6S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support PFMEA and risk mitigation activities with engineers.
• Coach and develop team members; collaborate with HR on performance issues.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across production.
