Job summary

SkyChefs in San Francisco is seeking a detail-oriented Production Control Coordinator to support daily airline customer orders and production operations. This on-site role focuses on accurate processing and timely coordination of meals and flight services, with responsibility for data entry into CBase and related systems.

You will work 6pm to 2am, enjoy two consecutive days off, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety standards, FIFO practices, and LEAN process

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of administrative experience.
• Knowledge of airline database systems (LINK, CBASE, ACE).
• Strong sense of urgency and problem solving.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail in a high-stress environment.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with a multi-cultural team.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiply, divide).
• Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate / participate in daily area/department meetings.
• Manually add flights and meal service codes to CBase.
• Audit, print, and deliver flight meal reports/diagrams to in-house station.
• Communicate up-to-date flight and meal information via email, phone, or two-way radio to required departments.
• Ensure work group stations are properly set up at shift start and during shift.
• Monitor and ensure Gold Standards are followed.
• Monitor FIFO dates and rotate food items accordingly.
• Verify shift attendance of team members.
• Ensure proper equipment and uniform attire.
• Assist LEAN process implementations and sustain improvements.
• Verify daily operational data and update databases.
• Ensure compliance with FDA/ USDA/ OSHA/ EPA/ DOT/ HACCP logs.
• Review internal feedback loop and customer comments with work groups.
