Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a Process Technician I-III for the Molding Department in our facility. The role requires setup, operation, and supervision of molding equipment with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will monitor production cycles, respond to alarms, and implement adjustments per technician directives while maintaining clean work areas and adhering to EHS/GMP policies.

Qualifications

• Capable of pacing production cycles.
• Strong time management, dexterity and attention to detail.
• Able to handle repetitive tasks.
• Sitting or standing for long periods.
• Able to lift up to 49 pounds.
• Able to identify alpha/numeric descriptions.
• Flexible schedule with overtime and holidays as needed.
• Knowledge of mechanical inspection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to EHS/GMP policies.
• Lockout/tagout and Molten Polymer procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized work area.
• Set up machines with correct process settings for quality.
• Start up and shut down machine/automation.
• Respond to alarms and correct malfunctions.
• Monitor molding equipment to meet efficiency targets.
• Act on Quality Technician adjustments to meet specs.
• Ensure quality and know when to shut down to prevent defects.
• Assist with line clearance and changeovers.
