Job summary

Amcor Limited is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Process Technician for a 12-hour night shift. You will maintain and repair large injection molding equipment, optimize cycles, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role requires a hands-on technician with strong mechanical/electrical skills and a focus on continuous improvement. Responsibilities include mold changes, color/material adjustments, data recording, and minimizing scrap.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with safety focus.
• Experience with injection molding equipment and GMP/HACCP awareness.

Responsibilities

• Adjust injection molding machines to optimize cycles and part quality.
• Perform mold insert changes and material/color changes.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement action plans.
• Monitor scrap and ensure accurate production data.
• Ensure machine repairs are prompt and proper.
• Follow PPE, safety and quality protocols.
