Job summary

Amcor is seeking an Injection Molding Process Technician to ensure production in the Molding Department. This role maintains and repairs industrial injection molding equipment with a safety-first mindset, aiming for high quality and perfect attendance.

You will adjust machines, perform mold changes, and support color/material changes while monitoring scrap and production flow. Amcor offers overtime and growth opportunities in a global packaging leader.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent; or 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• Must be mechanically and electrically inclined.
• 2–3 years of injection molding process technician experience preferred.
• Ability to work under limited supervision.
• Strong safety and quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform adjustments to injection molding machines to optimize cycle and part quality.
• Perform mold insert changes.
• Assist with size, color and material changes.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine action plans.
• Monitor scrap to ensure accurate accounting.
• Ensure machines are repaired promptly and safely.
• Follow GMP/HACCP and PPE policies.
• Record production data accurately.
• Maximize production flow and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with Quality Control to improve quality.
