Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a Mold Technician for the night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule. You will oversee the molding department, operate injection molding machines, manage material changes, and ensure parts meet Amcor standards.

Lead by example, work safely, and support the Packer/Handler role during breaks. The role requires knowledge of molding machinery, process understanding, and the ability to troubleshoot production issues, with a focus on quality and

Qualifications

Knowledge of injection molding machinery and processes including mold set-ups, troubleshooting, and maintenance exposure.
Maintain efficient production levels in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to identify alpha/numeric product codes.
Knowledge of mechanical inspection techniques and practices.

Responsibilities

Set up machines for operation, change material and color to meet production schedules.
Start-up machines and monitor quality at start up; adjust as needed.
Oversee proper packaging procedures and ensure packaging quality.
Review production schedules and run machines to meet customer demands.
Respond to alarms and requests for assistance to fix malfunctions or Packer/Handler issues.
Document machine adjustments and maintain accurate records.
