Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a Mold Technician for the night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule. You will oversee the molding department, operate injection molding machines, manage material changes, and ensure parts meet Amcor standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of injection molding machinery and processes including mold set-ups, troubleshooting, and maintenance exposure.
• Maintain efficient production levels in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to identify alpha/numeric product codes.
• Knowledge of mechanical inspection techniques and practices.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines for operation, change material and color to meet production schedules.
• Start-up machines and monitor quality at start up; adjust as needed.
• Oversee proper packaging procedures and ensure packaging quality.
• Review production schedules and run machines to meet customer demands.
• Respond to alarms and requests for assistance to fix malfunctions or Packer/Handler issues.
• Document machine adjustments and maintain accurate records.
