Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Controls Engineer to join the Glendale, AZ facility on a 2-2-3 night shift schedule (6:00 PM–6:00 AM). The role focuses on automation support for high-speed beverage equipment and requires strong PLC and HMI expertise.

You will mentor maintenance technicians, lead controls projects, and ensure safe, reliable operations. Competitive base salary plus 20% target bonus and relocation assistance are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in industrial automation or controls in high-speed manufacturing.
• Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.
• Willingness to work 2-2-3 night shift from 6 PM to 6 AM.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-shift controls and automation expert.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for production equipment.
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, instrumentation, and network issues.
• Implement corrective actions and continuous improvements.
• Support equipment commissioning, upgrades, and system integration.
• Provide training and mentorship to maintenance staff.
• Maintain backups and change records.
