Job summary

Cold Spring Brewing is seeking a dedicated Plant Custodian for a full-time night shift. The role features 12-hour shifts from 6p to 6a with a 2-2-3 rotating schedule, averaging 15 days per month.

Compensation starts at $18.00 to $20.50 per hour, with a $2.00 night-shift differential and a $750 night-shift bonus for eligible status. Responsibilities include general housekeeping across the facility and adherence to GMPs, safety, and sanitation protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior custodial or maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleans bathrooms, walkways, by machinery, and breakrooms including floors, glass, walls, and ceilings.
• Keeps aisles clean and free of cans and glass throughout the facility.
• Runs floor maintenance: sweep, mop, vacuum, and use scrubber as needed.
• Disposes of trash and recycling properly; maintains dumpster area cleanliness.
• May relieve machine operator in production settings as needed.
• Follows GMPs and food safety guidelines; adheres to quality standards.
