Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in fast-paced lab or hospital
• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws and labeling specimens
• Centrifuging specimens and recording maintenance data
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients
• Package and transport specimens according to protocol
• Ensure all test requisitions match scripts and maintain specimen integrity
