Job summary

Hire Consulting Services is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract position in Fairhope, AL. Schedule is 3rd shift, Monday–Friday with rotating weekends, 8:30pm–7am, 10-hour shifts. Projected duration is 3 months with potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifugation, keeping maintenance data, and complying with OSHA/DEP regulations. Minimum qualifications include a valid phlebotomy certification and 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 3+ years of phlebotomy experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• High School Diploma or GED; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens accurately.
• Centrifuge specimens and document maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture procedure clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage.
• Verify test requisitions and match to specimens to ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations; attend trainings.
