Job summary

Meritas Advisory Group, LLC in Fairhope, AL seeks a Phlebotomist for a contract role with potential for permanent hire. 3rd shift: Mon-Fri with rotating weekends, 8:30pm–7:00am.

Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling, centrifuging, data entry, and maintaining specimen integrity. Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience; valid state phlebotomy certification; MS Office proficiency; high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification valid for the employing state.
• At least 6 months venipuncture in fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and document results.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens per protocol.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Follow OSHA/DEP regulations and safety procedures.
• Attend annual department trainings.
