Job summary

Acloché LLC in Fairhope, AL is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3rd shift contract role with potential for permanence. The position requires valid phlebotomy certification and experience with venipuncture.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifuging, data recording, and maintaining specimen integrity in a fast-paced lab. Training and OSHA/DEP compliance are expected.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge and record maintenance data.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and store according to procedures.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and ensure 100% accuracy.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
• Answer telephone calls and read laboratory results to satisfy inquiries.
