Job summary

RRC Solutions Group in Fairhope, AL seeks a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. Schedule: 3rd shift, 8:30pm–7:00am, 10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday with rotating weekends. Location: Fairhope, Alabama.

3+ years of phlebotomy experience and a valid phlebotomy certification are required, along with a high school diploma or GED. Primary duties include blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifugation, data recording, and patient instruction.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience required.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Valid phlebotomy certification as required by state.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Experience performing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data, and decontamination.
• Explain venipuncture clearly to patients and follow tested procedures.
• Package and transport specimens; ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA/DEP).
