Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge, package and store specimens per procedures.
• Record maintenance data and decontamination activities.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and collect specimens as ordered.
• Ensure test requisitions match specimen labels and scripts.
• Follow OSHA/DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
