Job summary

Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking a contract Phlebotomist in Fairhope, AL for a 3-month assignment with the potential to become permanent. Schedule is 10-hour night shifts (Mon-Fri with rotating weekends) from 8:30pm to 7am.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, and handling per protocol. Benefits are available. The successful candidate will have 3+ years phlebotomy experience, OSHA/DEP awareness, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and store per temperature requirements.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend trainings.
• Answer inquiries by reading laboratory results.
