Job summary

Connectly Recruiting client seeks a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract in Fairhope, Alabama, with a 3rd shift schedule (8:30pm–7:00am, 10-hour shifts) and potential for permanent placement. Primary duties include blood draws, specimen labeling, and workflow support.

Responsibilities cover specimen handling, centrifugation, data recording, temperature-controlled storage, and clear communication with patients and lab staff, while complying with OSHA and state regulations. Benefits available.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge and prepare specimens for testing.
• Record maintenance data and decontamination; update patient information.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and label and store specimens as required.
• Ensure OSHA and DEP regulations are followed and participate in annual trainings.
