Job summary

You will work nights, coordinate with transporters and equipment partners, prepare daily reports, and help maintain efficient, high-quality patient flow across Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg and other facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver excellent customer service.
• Ability to interpret data from software reports and maintain accurate records.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Must be able to hear, comprehend and follow directions; fluent in English.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Driver's license PA required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare schedules proactively and assign tasks to patient transporters and equipment partners.
• Prepare daily reports for transport and bed cleaning management.
• Coordinate with peers and customers to maintain professional office practices.
• Maintain relationships between departments for effective transport coordination.
• Assist in training staff and implementing processes.
• Use dispatch software and radios to coordinate patient transports.
• Adjust staffing based on department needs.
